Zephyr of thought

Zeph-yr/ pronounced as [zef-er]
- noun
1. A gentle, mild breeze
2. (initial capital letter) Literary. The west wind.

In those moments of self-proclaimed importance, when one feels that he/she is inching closer to the answer (or question) of Life, the Universe and Everything, there is a stream of thought that needs an outlet on the World Wide Web.

I'd like to call this space a 'Zephyr of thought' for two reasons:

a) The expressions here can be compared to a mild breeze, even though at times they might have a strong overtone. I do not believe I can bring any 'Winds of Change' alone ( and do not regret the fact that I'm not Zaphod Beeblebrox, the most important being in the Universe, who was very intelligent, smart and maybe even nice deep down, but had tied his brains down, literally!) but that can definitely be put down under the section, 'group activity I'd like to be part of'.

b) West, for reasons not entirely known to me, has always been associated with progress and development and change and blah blah. Similarly, with changes moods and circumstances, the nature of one's thought process and writing evolves, and the person grows, so to say.
This reminds me of the first time I was able to write a poem that rhymed, or in fact write a poem at all! Ah! What joy it gave me, and how proud I was of having accomplished a rhythmic verse to describe the 'Sun'. Here's how it went:

It is the king of the sky
It gives us heat and light
We cannot live a life
Without the Sun
It gives light to the moon
It shines till afternoon
This rhyme is about the Sun
And the thing to see is that
Sun is only one!

True, it fails the rules of rhyming scheme in certain lines, but that sense of achievement will be cherished forever, because there are very few 'big deals' that can match up to the simple joys of life.
